Project Planning, Management & Remediation

  • Provided project management consulting and support services to a school district for the restructuring of a poor performing high school.

  • Led a diverse team of community leaders in the development of a comprehensive marketing plan for the largest youth and family social services agency in San Diego County.  

  • Managed a cross-functional team representing sales, client services, service delivery, technologies and reengineering in transforming a brick and mortar business to effectively compete against its online competitors, resulting in a 55% increase in new business and a 20% reduction in overall expenses.

  • Provided tactical support with the implementation of annual strategic plans for the senior vice president of a national service organization targeting small businesses.

  • Developed a proprietary transaction fee expense reallocation, collection, and reconciliation system that enabled a former commission-based business to successfully move to a client transaction fee business. Designed and implemented the change management process for this new business model, both internally and externally, and the necessary tools and materials to support the system's deployment.

  • Provided project management support for the restructuring of a national client management organization supporting small businesses as it moved from a decentralized organization to a centralized organization, resulting in a $2 million expense savings.

  • Provided event coordination services to a high profile nonprofit organization to help them through a critical staffing transition less than two months prior to their signature event.   

  • Provided full event production and management services to local nonprofit organization seeking to relaunch and rebrand their annual fundraising gala. Our services enabled the organization to exceed net revenues, achieve high attendee and volunteer satisfaction survey scores and reinforce it's mission and message to the community.   

  • Provided full event management services for a highly successful, annual volunteer recognition and fundraising event to benefit a performing arts member organization. 

  • Successfully led and developed multiple corporate AIDS Walk teams that were recognized each year as the top team.

Process Design / Process Improvement

  • Led the standardization initiative for a national call center, providing continuous support and coaching that resulted in improved process flow, reduced customer write-offs and increased sales closure rate.

  • Developed a new electronic grant application scoring tool that significantly reduced the time and manual work needed to complete an assignment.

  • Implemented state-of-the-art online project management solution for marketing, branding and design firm and a movie and video production company. 

  • Implemented a new telecom system linking six call centers with over 100 employees to maximize efficiencies, resulting in a significant improvement in call-to-buy ratios and call abandon rates.

  • Led several process redesign teams to help a company achieve substantial improvements in customer and employee satisfaction, achieving high performance scores in integrating diversity, coaching and development.

  • Developed a lead referral tracking database to support sales efforts in generating new business for a national organization targeting small businesses.

  • Led the effort to integrate Six Sigma process improvement practices throughout a business unit of a national organization.

Interim & Crisis Management

  • Managed a team of 98 employees in six phone centers with an annual sales volume of $40 million dollars in leisure travel sales.

  • Coordinated the rapid national rollout of a customer transaction fee program within a 60-day period that resulted in the recovery of $3 million in revenue from over 6,000 clients.

 

Program Planning & Development

  • Developed and implemented a successful board member recruitment, selection and orientation plan for a large not-for-profit organization seeking to diversify and retain a highly skilled board.

  • Designed niche sales, marketing and training materials to support a company's efforts to target specific audiences.

  • Led a cross-functional team of representatives from diverse business departments - from customer service to technology - in the successful development of a new business strategy that transformed an "offline" business to an "online" business.

  • Developed a comprehensive reporting and tracking performance database that enabled a business to implement more effective goals that were customized to support a new strategic plan.

  • Designed and implemented a competency-based interviewing, recruitment and selection process for a newly-formed commissioned sales representative program.

New Product/Service Development & Implementation

  • Worked in the best interest of both the company and its vendor partners in the development of a small business travel partner program that ensured all participants' expectations and goals were met.

  • Provided leadership in the design of a new voice recognition optimization tool by representing the unique needs of the small business customer segment and service delivery operations, resulting in additional functionality that made the product more appealing to this customer segment.

 

Business & Community Collaboration

  • Managed a company's corporate sponsorship of a charity walk, including the recruitment of the largest number of company volunteers for the event. Identified a "win-win" opportunity that brought together numerous businesses and a community service center by securing the necessary sponsorship and funding to bring a national photographic exhibit to the local community.

  • Strengthened a company's commitment to the community and enhanced its business reputation by coordinating the sponsorship of over 20 fundraising events that brought in thousands of dollars for various not-for-profit organizations.

  • Managed the relationship between a travel service provider and the BOSTON-NEW YORK AIDS RIDE, including developing and managing the travel program for over 2,000 riders.

  • Provided project management coaching and mentoring to school improvement team charged with reengineering a poor performing high school.
